The Mount Olivet Racial Equity (M.O.R.E.) Team exists to lead and engage our community in joining God’s work of undoing racism and building equity. As we do personal intercultural development, our team focuses on two goals.

  • Goal One: Motivate and grow capacity with the congregation for curiosity and compassion.

  • Goal Two: Work towards systemic change locally.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Dr. David Williard, University of St. Thomas historian, will present the legacy of racism and its systemic consequences on society today. Where have we been? Where are we now? Let's talk about it through an engaging, candid, non-judgmental, and non-political discussion.

Join the live stream for an uplifting evening of song, solidarity, and action, hosted by The Committee for the First Amendment. Featuring an all-star line-up of performers, including Rufus Wainwright, Bette Midler, Patti Smith, Jane Fonda, and more, this 90-minute concert event will celebrate the freedoms guaranteed by our First Amendment—of speech, religion, press, assembly, and protest—and the people power that both fuels these rights and is essential to guarantee them.
