Mount Olivet is hiring an ORGANIST! We are seeking a passionate musician with love and knowledge of Lutheran liturgy for our 9am weekly Sunday service.

Brief position summary:

• Provide keyboard accompaniment (organ & piano) for the weekly traditional service that encourages and enhances congregational singing

• Serve as the Chancel Choir accompanist during worship, as well as for weekly Chancel Choir rehearsals (Wednesdays at 7pm)

• Provide appropriate music for worship, utilizing organ and piano, corresponding to the theme of the day (lectionary or otherwise) (i.e. prelude / postlude / offertory / communion)

• Available whenever possible for funerals and weddings (for a per service fee)

Time: Position is part-time, approximately 8 hours per week
