Be Heard: Conversation on Diversity and Inclusion

BE HEARD: Conversation on Diversity and Inclusion

One of Mount Olivet's goals is understanding and celebrating human difference, while striving for justice for all people. This event will seek input and direction from the congregation as to how God is leading us to work towards that goal.

Light lunch will be served during this time in Fireside Room.
Please RSVP so we can plan for food!

TALK IT OUT

This event is part of the Talk It Out series:

We never do faith alone - we always are in relationship with other people, talking out our hopes, questions, and stories, trying to find meaning as we make conversation.

It was the same in the early church. In this season after Easter, we will be reading stories from Scripture that highlight the conversations and questions that emerged after the resurrection of Jesus: Who can be included in Christian community? What do you have to do to be considered a Christian? What does it mean to have faith in Jesus? The early church talked it out!
