ADVOCACY: CRANBERRY RIDGE DEVELOPMENT
Mount Olivet has discerned that God is calling us to get involved in ending homelessness and striving for more affordable housing. Our partner, Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative, has proposed an affordable housing complex in Plymouth at Highway 55 and Old Rockford Road. The Cranberry Ridge development would house 47 working families currently priced out of the west metro market. The Plymouth City Council will vote on the proposal on Tuesday, November 28 at 7:00pm. Those who want to show up and support this affordable housing development should wear cranberry. Also, bring a book and a snack as the meeting may be long. OUR PRESENCE IS IMPORTANT, and it helps the council know we are cheering them on as they prioritize affordable housing in the city of Plymouth.
