MANNA AND MERCY

Join together for shared meals, spiritual enrichment, and new connections with others at Mount Olivet as we read Daniel Erlander’s book, Manna and Mercy. This book is an approachable, illustrated, and brief retelling of the whole Bible and the living God it reveals - a God who provides for people day by day, and a God who welcomes all people to share God’s dream. As our church prepares to provide for others and welcome them into our building through our Loaves & Fishes meal, it will be good to spend time dwelling with each other and with God in these themes. Each evening will include soup from Dufner’s Deli along with bread and salad, instruction time with Pastors Beth and Joel, and small group conversation. Each participant will receive a copy of Manna and Mercy to read during the week, along with some of the scripture passages it retells.
